JOMTIEN. Secluded from Pattaya at the sea only by a cape and further in towards land the cities float together. The main attraction here is the beach and the five kilometre long beach promenade. Somewhat simplified you can say that Jomtien is like Pattaya but not "as much". The beach area is known for its excellent conditions for windsurfing. A great number of bars and restaurants can be found in the nearby area.

Chonburi is considered the province in the country with the best offer for golfers. You can e.g. reach about 20 well designed courts within an hour from Jomtien.

Many have 27 holes, all offers excellent service for reasonable prices. In e.g. Phuket the green fees are about double as expensive.

Good establishments are Laem Chabang Country Club, Amata Spring Country Club and Burapha Golf Club.
